What personal data we handle, why, for how long, and what you can ask of us. Written under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Effective from 12 October 2026
Arma Lab Kft. (registered seat: 1112 Budapest, Igmándi u. 10., Hungary) is the data controller.
We are not required to appoint a data protection officer and have not appointed one. For any question about your data, write to lab@armalab.eu and a human will answer.
When you write to us through the contact form, we handle your name, email address, phone number, country and the content of your message.
The form does not store anything on this website. Your message is sent straight to our mailbox as an email, and it lives there, in our email account, for as long as we need it to answer you and to keep a record of the enquiry. We delete enquiries that led nowhere after two years.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
ARM-XR is a prosthetic device, so people often describe their situation when they write to us, including details about a limb difference or an amputation. Information about your health is a special category of personal data under Article 9 of the GDPR, and it deserves more care than an ordinary enquiry.
You are never required to share it. Write only as much as you want us to know: we can answer most questions without any medical detail. When you do send us such information, we treat it as given with your explicit consent for the purpose of answering you, we keep it within the small team that handles enquiries, and we delete it on request.
We use Google Analytics to see how people use this website, but only if you choose "OK" in the cookie banner. Google Analytics then sets its own cookies and Google Ireland Limited processes your IP address and how you move around the site on our behalf. If you choose "Essential only", it never loads.
We remember your choice in a small cookie (al_consent) for 180 days. You can change your mind at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
We run no advertising pixels or other tracking.
Legal basis: your consent.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs of requests to this website, including IP address, time and the page requested. These logs exist to keep the site running and to detect abuse. They are overwritten after a short period.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website.
We do not sell personal data and we do not pass it to third parties for marketing.
Our hosting provider, Sybell Informatika Kft. (1138 Budapest, Tomori utca 34. 2. em., Hungary), processes data on our behalf as part of running the servers and the email service.
If you contact us about a purchase, we may share what is necessary with the authorised distributor in your country, so that they can help you locally.
You can ask us at any time to tell you what data we hold about you and give you a copy; to correct anything inaccurate; to delete your data where we have no remaining legal ground to keep it; to restrict what we do with it while a question is being settled; to hand you the data you gave us in a machine-readable format; or to object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
Write to lab@armalab.eu. We answer within one month. If the request is complex, we may extend this by two months and will tell you why.
If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, please come to us first, we would rather fix it than argue about it. You may also complain to the Hungarian supervisory authority, or go to court at your place of residence.
